Sid Kat (short for Siddharth Katragadda) is a San Diego based artist, originally from India, whose art is an amalgam of the East and the West. His paintings touch upon topics such as race, war, guns, immigration, abortion, colonialism, climate change, animal abuse and other issues. "My art has three sides: Meaning, Social impact and Innovation .

My paintings are not strictly meant to decorate walls, but to decorate minds, each with a story and a message. I believe that an artist's primary goal is to be a vehicle for social change. A hundred years from now, I want my art to be a time capsule of society as it exists today. I also place a high value on innovation; as Picasso said, every painting series has to move art in a new direction... never repeat yourself or others." My goal is to develop my own styles that progress art in new directions. I am the founder of the "Holeism", "Soulism" and "Feminism" art styles, which I hope to expand upon.

Sid's paintings have been exhibited and collected worldwide. He has sold over 70 paintings in a career spanning from 2008 to present, with collectors in India, Dubai, Australia, Singapore, and America.
